We're often asked how to install the dowmloads from Alice Grafixx - so I decided to open this thread to explain it...
IMPORTANT! You'll need an Packing / unpacking-programme to unpack the zip files you get here! (All downloads comes as zip-files) - so please install such a programme like the freeware 7 zip!
How to install...
01. Brushes
-> Photoshop
Photoshop brushes have always an *.abr-ending. So put all the *.abr-files from the zip-file into:
Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop Y/Presets/Brushes
(Y is the version number of your Photosho version)
After that you open Photoshop and click on Edit in the Preset Manager. There you select "Brushes" from the dropdown menu and click on "Load". Choose the Brush file by clicking on it and then click on "Load" and than on "Done". Now your new Photoshop brushes are installed!
02. Patterns
-> Photoshop
Photoshop patterns have always a *.pat-ending. So put all the *.pat-files from the zip-file into:
Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop Y/Presets/Patterns
(Y is the version number of your Photosho version)
After that you open Photoshop and double click on the layer you want to apply the pattern to to open the layer-style options. Click on the dropdown bar in the pattern preview box than click on the arrow at the right top and select "Load Pattern". Choose the .pat file you want to install and click on the open buttons. Select Add from the popup box to add your new patterns to the ones you already have in your palette.
